Watercolour attempts

I don't have a scanner at the moment so these are from a camera.
Just to get used to using watercolour paints and mixing colours I decided to draw a tree.




Then I painted one of my chinchillas in a similar style to Beatrix Potter. I gave him a pirate hat because he's blind in one eye and has one injured leg, like a pegleg. He's called Jack after Jack Sparrow.
