Watercolour

I decided to try experimenting with watercolour to see what interesting effects I could create. For the hedgehog I just used a few different shades and layered them to create a messy, spiky effect. And blended the edge of the eye into the rest of the face. I then decided to experiment more with the blending idea with the giraffe. I wanted it to look like a child's picture - coloured outside the lines. It didn't work out as I'd hoped but some of the blends look quite interesting and it does look childish..
