Merchandise design

I've just entered a competition for The Charlatans. I don't listen to their music but I found the competition on facebook and thought I might as well try. I decided to design a t-shirt by vectoring a photograph of the band.



The style I used is similar to the vectors of the band Blur.



I decided to just use grayscale and not too much detail. I added a 'glow' around the image to prevent the colours blending with the dark coloured t-shirt
