The monster was originally created to be the character for a book I was hoping to write for children in hospitals. My nieces gave me loads of monster drawings and names to put in the book but I haven't actually started it yet.. I liked this design too much to not do anything with it though. I also used it in one of my university projects where I designed a magazine article about a clothing company and included the monster on a tshirt design.
